Erly is part of the communication team at Coding Rights, while currently working on her Master’s at the Postgraduate Program in Communication at UFF (Federal Fluminense University), where she studies black women’s identity narratives on Facebook. Her research is crossed by issues of gender, race and body in contemporary times. She nurtures deep interest in social issues related to beauty, identities, representations, social media, algorithms, women and black feminism. She is also a member of the Digital Media, Identity, and Communication – MiDICom research group.
